A. doesnt conform to the concept of selfish gift. no benefits to the Charles and doesnt say if value is less than customary
B. selfish gift is not defined by the feeling of the receiver.
C. not generous as it benefits Amanda, the giver.
D. correct, iMO. the value of the gift is not more than is customary. conforms to the concept of "non generous" gift
E. the gift was "intended" to benefit the nephew. what the nephew does with it is out of scope. it doesnt make the gift non generous.
